Manifest your way to better days ahead.

We hear the word manifesting quite a lot these days – and to some, it might sound like a mysterious concept. It’s a process that can be done with more practicality – but it does involve a lot of introspection.
The first step is setting your intention – being specific about what you want to attract so you can be deliberate about your choices, big and small. This can be expressed with a single word that’s stated positively: you may use words such as such as Focus, Shine and, my intention for 2021, Ignite.
Your intention will serve as your guide and it will help keep your actions aligned with how you want your life to unfold for the rest of the year. Personally, I always set my intention for the coming year by writing it down, saying as if it has happened already, and feeling this as truth in every cell of my body.
When I did this at the end of 2019, one of the things I wrote down was: “2020 has
unbelievably exceeded my expectations.” Notice how this statement didn’t include any specifics - and this was intentional. I knew the outcome I wanted - but I left room for the Universe to surprise me with HOW it will happen.
Intention-setting involves both trusting and letting go: trust that what is for you will always make its way to you at the right time—and letting go of your attachment to how things will unfold. Throughout this process, it’s good to remember that even if things don’t go exactly as you envisioned it, it will be for your best.
One affirmation you can repeat to yourself would be: “This or something better.”
The second part of the process is raising your vibration. This means cultivating high vibrational emotions such as compassion, love, and gratitude. The law of attraction says that like attracts like—if you want to have more compassion and love in your life, you must work on having these qualities yourself instead of seeking them from someone else.
Some practical things you can do to raise your vibration is to remember the basics:
Move your body to release tension, drink lots of water to flush out toxins (do a cleanse if needed), try to eat more vegetables, and carve out time for prayer, journaling and quiet reflection.
Your physical space also has an effect on your vibration. Decluttering or getting rid of the things you no longer use is a good way to invite new energy in. Adding plants, a salt lamp and diffusing essential oils can also bring good energy to your space and create that feeling of calmness.
When you’re calm and grounded, you’re able to see things from a clearer and higher perspective – and having this perspective will allow you to make the choices that will bring you closer to your desires.
See you in 2021!
