If you like long, solitary walks at the mall, this may be the best time to enjoy it. Here’s why.
If you’re anything like me, going to the mall pre-pandemic was my little slice of solitude. Window shopping for clothes, browsing for books, and having a nice meal by myself was one of the things I truly treasured.
While it’s still a bit scary to venture out of our homes for anything less than an errand run, GCQ measures have allowed more businesses and establishments to resume — with the appropriate measures, of course.
This means that the malling experience we all knew and loved will be different, but with Ayala Malls’ safety measures, there’s no reason why we can’t enjoy a small slice of socially-distanced alone time in our lives.
Here’s artist Jill Arteche’s take on malling in the new normal.
Before you head out, make sure you’re equipped with your face mask and quarantine pass. Pro tip: go at off-peak hours to avoid the crowd.
Before you enter, there is a quick temperature check to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
Ayala Malls’ Zing app contains a directory of stores, with directions to boot. Download it for free on the App Store and Play Store.
Select boutiques make use of UV light disinfection, making it safe to try on clothes in-store.
Ayala Malls highly encourages contactless payments to reduce the risk of viral transmission through cash.
Seats and tables at restaurants are marked for social distancing (a.k.a more peace and quiet). Table for one, please!
